Illidan dead, fapping until 2.4.
It's hard to believe we actually started out as a PvP guild, with 4 or 5 of us going into Karazhan to farm some trash and see the totally awesome raid content. Then we invited a couple friends to the raid, and then we invited them to the guild, and then we gkicked and invited them back to the guild a dozen times a day for nearly a year, and now we've killed the last boss in the game until 2.4.
Illidan is actually a ridiculously simple fight after you get around phase 2. Our total time learning phases 3-5 was around 2 hours, and the actual Illidan kill was nowhere near as climactic as a bunch of wisps blowing all over Archimonde's face.
Loot was:
[item]Crystal Spire of Karabor[/item] to Applemask, [item]Chestguard of the Forgotten Conqueror[/item] to Healmaster, [item]Chestguard of the Forgotten Vanquisher[/item] for Caster, and [item]Stormrage Signet Ring[/item] for Trikity.
Massive gear farming until Sunwell, ahoy!
